Description

I provide consulting services to a variety of foundations and nonprofit organizations, strengthening the capabilities of our communities to impact the lives of children, youth and families. The three primary ways that I provide consulting services are as follows. First, my education and extensive experience in prevention and youth development enhance an organization's ability to complete specific projects; this knowledge has allowed me to provide services ranging from philanthropic advising to curriculum development. For example, I researched and wrote a strategic plan for a family foundation that funds youth violence prevention programs. Second, my skills as both an educator and evaluator support program planning and implementation; these skills have allowed me to serve as a trainer, technical assistance provider and an outside program evaluator. I am currently contracted by a health-care foundation in Ohio to provide training and individualized consultation to their grantees through a community strategic planning process.
