Bio:
Marcy Levy Shankman, Ph. D. is Principal for MLS Consulting, LLC. She has been consulting with higher education institutions and non-profit organizations since 1998 in areas of leadership and organizational development. In this practice, Dr. Shankman specializes in strategic planning, board and staff development, and facilitation. She has conducted research, coordinated region-wide coalitions, and spoken on a wide range of topics related to leadership, the challenges of change, and emotional intelligence. She has written and facilitated custom-designed leadership development curriculum for a variety of educational experiences, including workshops, professional development seminars, and retreats. Dr. Shankman co-authored Emotionally Intelligent Leadership: A Guide for College Students (Jossey-Bass, 2008) and has published two assessment: The EI Profile: An Emotional Intelligence Self-Assessment and the EI Full Spectrum: An Emotional Intelligence 360.
